For the last day of the 30 Day Poetry Challenge, a poem titled: The End
My journey so far has been
one in which my only means of survival
are my own words.
I have used them to build bridges that I
do not intend to burn.
I have used them to stake my claim,
and to be a part of a community.
I wouldn’t have it any other way.
